Chris Mercer is a Chartered Accountant and Co-Founder & CEO of The Live Group, one of Australia’s leading advisory and data analytics businesses dedicated to the real estate industry.
For more than two decades, Chris has worked closely with real estate principals, franchise networks and industry leaders to help them understand the true drivers of agency performance, business structure and profitability.
His work focuses on translating complex financial and operational data into practical strategies that improve real estate business performance and long-term profitability.
Early Innovation in Real Estate Data
Chris first became involved in the real estate industry in 2001, when he worked with the Ray White Group to develop Wealth Partners, an online KPI platform designed to track real-time lead and lag indicators for sales agents.

At the time, the platform represented one of the industry’s earliest attempts to introduce structured performance analytics and real estate business data into agency management.

This early work established Chris as one of the pioneers in applying data-driven decision making to real estate businesses.
Building The Live Group
In 2007, Chris founded Live Real Estate Accounts, a specialist accounting and advisory firm built exclusively for real estate businesses.
